Countdown to ARToberfest

Just one week until ARToberfest!

There are going to be over 70 different beers at the event, including over 40 of your favorite brands provided by Marsala and over 20 unique brews created our local homebrewers. There will be something for everyone!

In addition to the variety of beers that will be available at ARToberfest, there will also be live performances by some local favorites: The ReactorsTranny DeVitoThe Swingin’ Richards, and Hair Nation.

Here’s a sample – the Reactors, playing “Born to Be Wild” at Sundown Tavern in Ruston:

Today was our Tech event, where we set up a “beer pong” game (minus the beer, of course), ring toss, and obstacle course. Winners entered the name for a chance to win a free ticket to the event–special thanks to everyone who came out!

On Tuesday, October 2nd we will hold the Grambling event outside of Favrot Student Union from 11-1:30pm. Last week we noted that the date was going to be September 26th, but we had to push this back due to scheduling conflicts with Founders’ Day. We apologize for the confusion, and we hope to see you at Grambling this Tuesday!

Remember, a drawing is coming up on the 1st of October. If you “like” our Facebook page, you are eligible to win! Just go to facebook.com/Artoberfest Just go We will have one winner from Facebook, and one winner from the names we collect at Louisiana Tech and Grambling. These general admission tickets will grant visitors access to the over 70 beers and great music. Don’t miss your chance to get in free!

And even if you don’t win, just $15 will get you a general admission ticket to ARToberfest. That’s $15 for all-you-can-drink beer, which I guarantee is cheaper than your last bar tab. 😉 Call (318) 255-1450 for more information, or stop by the Dixie Center for the Arts or Fine Line Art Supply to buy your ticket.
