Summer Arts Camp Rendezvous

Now working as an Associate Professor of Art at Louisiana Tech University, Nicholas Bustamante began his own study of art in California. After receiving his Bachelor of Art degree from Humboldt State University in 2000, he then moved on to attain his Master of Fine Arts Degree from Long Beach State University in 2003.

Nick has been a part of many juried, group, and solo exhibitions beginning as early as 2001. These exhibitions have take place in multiple states including, California, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Minnesota, and Arizona.

Registration for this year’s camps is currently taking place. Interested participants can register by calling 318-255-1450 or picking up a form from the Dixie Center for the Arts (212 N. Vienna, Ruston, LA).

A portion of the Summer Arts Camp is sponsored by a grant from Entergy as well as donations from NCLAC’s Pick Your Picasso campaign. PYP is a campaign that provides scholarships to twenty-five students to attend the arts camp in their parish for free.
