The Department of Theatre Arts at Grambling State University is pleased to announce its production of Stadium View by Judi Ann Mason. Stadium View was originally written by the late Ms. Mason while attending Grambling State University as a theatre major in the 1970’s. The story brings to stage the life of three aspiring football players and their female companions, while dealing with love, books, and jealousy. Gramblinite reporter Hamilton Marshall covers every move as signing day approaches. Who will make it to the pros? Who will be the wife of the star? Is there a defeat on the horizon? Ms. Mason captures the life in and around Grambling with well-rounded characters and a compelling story. Come see how the Grambling State spirit in the 70’s is still as much alive today.
Directed by Karl V. Norman, the cast consists of 7 talented GSU students. The production staff consists of Steve Chapin as set designer, Teisha Lincoln as costume designer, Courtney Hickman as light designer and Deron James as stage manager.
